For law firms
Help a prospective client understand whether your law firm handles their matter.
A practice page should connect a client's situation to your actual legal services. Attorney biographies build context, but they do not replace a clear description of matters handled and jurisdictions served.

Choose the page a potential customer would read
Scan a public practice-area page, such as estate planning or commercial disputes. Do not enter a confidential client portal, case document, or private intake link.
Describe the matter, not just the practice label
“Business law” can mean many things. Explain the types of matters you handle, who you represent, and limits on the service. Keep the language accessible without turning the page into individualized legal advice.
- Which matters does this practice handle?
- Do you represent individuals, employers, or businesses?
- Which jurisdictions are relevant?
- Which matters should be referred elsewhere?
Explain intake without creating false expectations
State how a prospective client contacts the firm and what happens next. Do not imply that submitting a form creates an attorney-client relationship. Follow your firm's confidentiality and engagement policies.
- How can someone request an initial discussion?
- Is there a consultation fee, if applicable?
- How are conflicts checked before engagement?
- Where can a visitor find contact and engagement notices?
Support trust with facts you can substantiate
Use current attorney names, bar admissions, and relevant experience. Results, testimonials, and specialization statements can be subject to professional advertising rules, which vary by jurisdiction.
- Are attorney admissions accurate and current?
- Do experience claims have a factual basis?
- Have testimonials and outcome statements been reviewed?
- Are required notices visible where appropriate?
A clearer introduction, not a bigger claim
- Vague
- “Aggressive representation. Exceptional results.”
- More specific
- “Our estate planning practice helps [confirmed client group] prepare wills and trusts in [confirmed jurisdiction]. Request an initial consultation to discuss whether we can assist.”
Illustrative wording only. Your firm must verify the services, jurisdiction, intake process, and any required notices.
Accuracy comes first
Do not add invented victories, guaranteed outcomes, or unsupported “specialist” claims. Have the responsible attorney review all published changes against applicable rules. The Diagnostic is not legal advice or professional-advertising clearance.
The free scan checks observable page information. It does not test whether an AI provider will recommend you. If the scan finds useful gaps, the $49 human-reviewed Signal Clarity Diagnostic provides specific corrections for one page, emailed within one business day. No subscription or ranking guarantee.
